The Boys end the tournament with a 4th place finish. In the final day of the tournament the Bucs were set to play Hutchison in order to advance to the third and fourth place game later that day. The Buccaneers were able to keep the score relatively close through the first three quarters. Then late in the fourth the Hawks were able to pull away and get the victory. Senior Caj Rohrer led the Bucs by scoring 23 points, including 5 three-pointers. Next was Nathan Kuchin with 19. With that loss the boys team will not be advancing to the state tournament. Congratulations to the Seniors on the team; Caj Rohrer, Chris Mansfield, Brian Allen, and Walter Hogarth on their final season of High School Basketball.

The Girls finish 2nd overall in the Aurora Conference and will be going to the State Tournament in two weeks. After a tough loss on Friday the Lady Bucs look toward facing the Hutchison Hawks on Saturday. The Bucs answered that game with a dominant win to send them to State. The final score of the game was 51-36. Rachel MacDonald and Marian Wamsley led the way scoring 12 points each for the team. Katy Merioles also chipped in with 7.
