KVAK Programs for Kids!


The goal of the Kids Club is to engage young children in activities aimed at promoting community service. The club is run by KVAK radio and sponsored by Alyeska Pipeline Service Company and Rav'n Alaska.  Membership is free and all children in Kindergarten through 5th
grade can join and receive the following:
-A Welcome Packet full information and fun stuff about the club.
-On-Air Birthday Announcement
-Birthday card with a special surprise-
-A quarterly newsletter

Each month KVAK picks a different community service theme, writes announcements and invites Kids Club members in 4th through 5th grades to participate in a recording session at the studio.  The :30 to :60 spots are then aired on 93.3 FM and 1230 AM throughout the month.

Open to public and home school students


This year recording sessions are for 4th & 5th grade students. All kids registered will receive a welcome packet and get their birthday announced on the air.
