no - jr high is soon enough! Answer:Seems a bit young to give a kid a laptop to take home. Hope they take care of them and Schools have a maintenance plan to upgrade and take care of them Answer:I say no - jr high is early enough Answer: Did apple give them a deal? Need more information on price per. Answer:Few and far between are the good jobs that do not require computer literacy. I agree with the school board. Answer:Fifth and sixth graders do not need laptop computers to take home paid for by the school district. The school board should be using those funds on more important projects. Answer:Since computers are such a big part of schools today I think this is a good choice. If the students are taught to use the computers responsibly and take advantage of what they can learn through research to help them with their studies and education overall, it will be well worth it. However; they need to be taught the dangers of the predators that also use the internet. The parents and teachers have the responsibility and duty to see to this. Answer:I believe that the monies could be better spent.
