Over 40 Valdezens submitted their snowfall guess for how much snow will fall March 5th through 14th for a chance to win a NOAA Weather Radio. FROSTY FEVER 2010 ROCK N? ROLL LIVE SHOW
KVAK is pleased to host Valdez' Winter Carnival "Frosty Fever Fesitval"- March 5th through 14th.
KVAK will host Rock N' Roll Live Show Saturday, March 13th @ the Civic Center from 7-9:30pm. The event will feature local Valdezeans taking the stage to sing a verse with a LIVE band for a chance to win $100. Rock N' Roll Live will feature 3 dance floors, as well as twist and swing dance demo's and contests. The HHES Choir will sell root beer floats.
Dont' miss your chance to "Sing with the Band". KVAK will qualify contestants on-air between 11am and noon every Monday and Wednesday through March 8th. Tune into 93.3FM or 1230AM for your chance to qualify.
KVAK will host Frosty Fever Sweet Auction to benefit local charities. The first auction will be Tuesday, March 9th @ 11AM to benefit the Synchro Seals Swim Club. The second auction will be Wednesday, March 10th @ 11AM to support St. Francis Xavier Youth Group in raising money for refugees in Anchorage for a garden project. Auction items include cakes, pies, and cookies.
