FEDERAL SUBSISTENCE PERMITS TO BE ISSUED BY BLM BEGINNING JULY 18TH

The Bureau of Land Management Glennallen Field Office staff will begin issuing Federal Subsistence Hunt Permits for Unit 13 moose and caribou by July 18, 2022. Call 907 822- 3217 for more information.

• Permits are available on weekdays from the BLM Glennallen Field Office at Mile 186.5 Glenn Hwy, Glennallen, AK, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm (excluding federal holidays).
• If you got a permit in the last 3 years you may request a permit to be mailed. Call 907 822-7328 on weekdays between 8:00 and 4:30 pm for more information or to request a mailed permit.
• Traveling far? call 907 822-7328 to make an appointment; we may be able to print ahead for pickup.

  DOCUMENTS TO HAVE READY TO DEMONSTRATE ELIGIBILITY:

  1) Current State of Alaska Hunting License
  2) Proof of rural residency such as a recent electric bill or voter registration that

  shows your permanent physical address, and
  3) Photo identification such as a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID card.

  All permittees must affirm you are qualified for federal subsistence in GMU 13 as defined by 50 CFR 100.4 and 36 CFR § 242.24.
