Jeff Saxe of Valdez was awarded a Sea Lion award with a back hoe endorsement from the Valdez Police Department after he helped police get a wayward sea lion back to the water. A large sea lion found its way to Eagles Rest RV Park Thursday night and with a bit of coaching from Saxe in his backhoe, the animal found its way safely across the highway and back to safety.
