This week the Lady Buccaneers played in their first conference games of the season at home. It was great to see the turn out from the community to support our girls. They played great this weekend against the Eielson Ravens, beating them both days. We were down a few players but the rest of the team stepped up and everyone got to play every set. On Friday, we won 3-0 with the respective scores for each set: 25-6, 25-12, and 25-22. The girls continued this trend beating them again on Saturday 3-0 with the scores: 25-23, 25- 14, and 25-5. I am so proud of how the girls have started off this season and excited to see how they continue to grow as a team when we have everyone back. This upcoming weekend we travel to Fairbanks to play a regular match against Lathrop on Thursday and the West Valley Invite Friday and Saturday.
