Superintendent Tim Bauer announced the resignation of Valdez High School’s Principal, Ms. Gayle Brown, effective immediately. The following letter was sent to families and the community:
Dear Valdez City Schools Community,
I am writing to inform you of an important change in Valdez High School’s leadership. Effective today, Ms. Gayle Brown has submitted her resignation from her position as Principal of Valdez High School. To ensure a smooth transition and the continued well-being of our students, I will be serving as the acting principal for Valdez High School.
We wish Ms. Brown the very best in her future endeavors.
In the coming weeks, Valdez City Schools will begin the search for a new principal who will lead Valdez High School into the next chapter of academic excellence. We remain committed to our mission of preparing students for success in an ever-changing world and look forward to continued growth and achievement.
