Kelli Malcuit drives past a Galena player

This weekend the Lady Bucs faced the Hawks from Galena on our HOME court! Was nice to be back in our gym after a few weeks of tournament travel. Friday night the Bucs jumped out to an early 1st quarter lead scoring 11 to Galena’s 2 and continued to extend their lead for the remainder of the game and securing a 45-28 win over the Hawks. Lola Compehos lead all scorers with 21points, Destiny Day added 11 points and Rylee Wade contributed 10 points.
Despite coming out on Saturday a little slower moving our feet on defense and some cold outside shooting the Bucs managed to come out on top with a score of 51-36. Lola Compehos once again lead all scorers on Saturday with 18 points, Destiny Day scored 14 points and Kelli Malcuit contributed 13 points.
This coming weekend the Buccaneers will travel to Eielson to face the Ravens in conference games on Friday and Saturday.
