Eleven teams traveled from Anchorage, Wasilla, Fairbanks, and Northway to play in the 2024 July Magic Softball Tournament in Valdez. There was a homerun derby, side games, and over 70 games played during the 2-day tournament.

Meta Mendenhall said the Valdez Softball Association is always looking for new players to bring a good attitude, glove, and bat on Wednesday nights to play in the league!
