The Valdez Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers at 212 Chenega Avenue, Valdez, Alaska.
The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony concerning a proposed amendment to VMC 17.80.090 concerning the specific use standards for Short Term Rentals and the applicability of those standards.
The public is encouraged to attend the hearing to provide comments or may submit comments in writing to the Community Development Department. Submitted comments must be received by 4:00 pm on the day of the meeting to be presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Submissions by email may be sent to: communitydevelopment@valdezak.gov.
