Saturday night, Valdez women were recognized by Advocates for Victims of Violence for their contributions in the Valdez Community.

Honorable mention of long time board member of AVV Janis Johnson who was inducted into the Alaska Women’s Hall of Fame Achievement in: Community Advocate for Social Services & Education.
