Our GMS skiers pushed hard in their race Saturday January 18. With temperatures in the single digits and icy trail conditions, our Huskies showed determination and perseverance to finish the 5 kilometer course. Liam Stark was our top skier with a time of 28:55, placing third for middle school boys. Kaiden Leahy was not far behind in fourth.
With a time of 29:05. Isabel Fitch earned second place for girls. Oliver Saucier and Jeremiah Pruitt showed great sportsmanship in stopping to help a Glennallen skier who had fallen and hurt his knee. Give all our skiers a big high five for their terrific effort in Saturday’s race.
