Pink Salmon Swarms are Closing in On Valdez, AK
KVAK’s Barrett McCumby talks about fishing in Valdez, AK. Pat Olsen, a fish cutter in Valdez Alaska, said he is starting to see more and more pink salmon at the filet tables. He expects the salmon be in the port at full force very shortly. The Valdez Kids pink Salmon Derby is on July 22nd and the Valdez Womens Silver Salmon Derby starts August 12th.
