Notice of Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit, 150-foot Telecommunication Tower

The Valdez Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:30 pm in the City Council Chambers at 212 Chenega Avenue.

The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony concerning a Conditional Use Permit application for a 150-foot Telecommunication Tower to be located at 2400 Richardson Highway (Lot 2, Cho Subdivision, Plat 2014-7). The applicant is Atlas Tower 1, LLC and the property owner is Valdez Outfitters LLC.

The public is encouraged to attend the hearing to provide comments or may submit comments in writing to the Community Development Department prior to the meeting. Submitted comments will be presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Submissions by email may be sent to: planningdept@valdezak.gov.
