Notice of Public Hearing: Rezone Request for Certain Properties along Wood Way

The Valdez Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:30 pm in the City Council Chambers at 212 Chenega Avenue.

The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony concerning a Rezone application for certain parcels from Moderate Density Residential (R1) to Rural Residential (RR). The applicant is Jessica McMillen. The properties proposed for the rezone are:

The public is encouraged to attend the hearing to provide comments or may submit comments in writing to the Community Development Department prior to the meeting. Submitted comments will be presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission.
