KVAK's Laurie Prax interviewed Samantha Pennel (formerly Ace). Pennell grew up in Valdez and fondly remembers fishing the Kids Derby as a child. During the 2024 Valdez Kids Pink Salmon Derby, Pennell taught her kids how to fish.
