NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Valdez Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on January 22,

2020 at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers. The purpose of the hearing is to take

public testimony on the request from Valdez Petroleum Terminal for a modification to

their existing conditional use permit for the storage and distribution of hazardous,

volatile and flammable materials on the parcel at 402 W. Egan Drive (Tract I, Port

Valdez Subdivision) owned by Petro Star, Inc. More specifically, the submitted

application is for the addition of vapor control for their existing truck rack.

The public is encouraged to attend but if attendance is not possible, comments may be

presented to the Planning Department in writing prior to 5:00 p.m. on January 22, 2020.

Comments will then be submitted to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Submissions
