RICHARDSON HIGHWAY, SCHOOLS CLOSED

The Richardson Highway is closed from 18 to 46 mile due to whiteout conditions. The road will be opened when conditions improve. Shout out to Robert at DOT for keeping KVAK updated. Valdez City Schools are closing at 12:30 today. Parents of students who do not ride the bus need to pick up their students. Buses will be escorted through windy areas according to Melissa Reese of VCS.
