3/18/2020 – Safeway is working hard to protect the general public. We have employees tasked specifically with cleaning and sanitizing all regularly touched surfaces. The automatic door function is turned on to try and reduce touching of the doors. Currently our hours of operation are normal, but that is subject to change. All “self serve” food items have been removed from the sales floor. We are requesting no more than 5 customers in our pharmacy at any given time.

SAFEWAY IS ALSO IN NEED OF EMPLOYEES

We are actively hiring for general purpose clerks, cashiers, courtesy clerks, stockers, deli, produce, bakery, and meat departments and we hire at age 14!

Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 7AM and 9AM are reserved for seniors and other shoppers that are most vulnerable to COVID-19. We are asking for customers to honor the reserved hours and we thank the community inadvance for their compassion and understanding toward their neighbors and for helping us

maintain these temporary operation guidelines.

We are limiting the Pharmacy to only 5 customers inside at once.
