**COVID-19 HEALTH ALERT**

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services is committed to the health and well-being of Alaskans. Child care is a critical support for working families, their children and businesses. At this time, per guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we are recommending that child care facilities stay open if they safely can do so. We do not want children to be cared for by elders, because people aged greater than 60
