Please note Port Office staff are working closely with our federal and state partners, as well as the cruise ship companies, regarding 2020 port calls. Existing protocols regarding federal advance notice of arrival requirements for passenger ships, notification by ship masters to the U.S. Coast Guard and CDC regarding any type of infectious disease onboard, as well as passenger screenings shall continue to be followed.
As of now, there are no plans to close our port, airport or roads due to global events. As of now, none of the cruise ship companies have cancelled scheduled Valdez port calls. We commit to providing the Valdez community with updates as we learn more.
