Courtesy of Coach Beck – The Buccaneer ski team competed in two races this weekend totaling in 12 kilometers of racing. Friday the skiers competed in the Keni Klassic. This was a challenging race not just due to the
cold temperatures but also because it was the team’s first time competing in a Skiathalon. In a skiathalon a skier is challenged by skiing both techniques in one race. The first 4K lap was classic
technique. Skiers then switched out of their classic skis and poles into skate skis and took off again for another 3K loop. The next day was
