KVAK's Laurie Prax talked with John Damberg who will be performing at the Valdez Civic Center Saturday, February 24th at 7pm with his Latin Jazz Quintet. Damberg is a master percussionist and will play with Jacque Annadale on Also Saxophone, Mark Manners on guitar, Bob Andrews on bass and Eiden Pospisil on drums and latin percussion. VALDEZ - KVAK's Laurie Prax interviewed USCG Petty Officer Wiliam Walker and Mo Radotich of the DEC to find out what happens when a boat sinks in the Valdez Harbor. Walker said one boat sunk during the last snow storm and provided tips to keep boats from sinking. Radotich shared information about what happens after the boat sinks and how DEC plays a role.
