Valdez Nordic Ski @ Glennallen Meet
Valdez High School ski team traveled to Gakona to race against the Glennallen ski team Saturday for a challenging 5k race, with 5 girls and 8 boys competing for the Bucs.

After a quick turnaround this weekend our Bucs loaded up and headed to Sitka for a two game contest against the Sitka Wolves and two games with the Mt. Edgecumbe Lady Braves.

After a long four-games-in-five-nights road trip to Fairbanks, we jumped straight into another four-games-in-five-nights trip to scenic southeast Alaska (specifically Sitka.)

Eight Valdez High School students participated in the Alaska Association of Student Government (AASG) Conference held in Delta Junction over the weekend. AASG’s mission is to provide leadership training, communication, and a student voice of issues at the local, state and national levels.
